Nawab Chishti, accused of making inflammatory messages viral in the Gangs of Wasseypur WhatsApp group, was arrested by the police and sent to jail on Tuesday. Nawab is a resident of Doranda. It has come to the fore in the investigation that on June 10, the message of protest against the controversial statement became more viral than this WhatsApp group. The accused Nawab in the group had appealed to the people to join the protest. The police have also come to know that the Nawab is the admin of this group. Nawab has also gone to jail twice for inciting riots.
The allegation was found to be true after scrutinizing the messages received in a WhatsApp group called Gangs of Wasseypur. After this the police arrested the accused and sent him to jail. It is said that the Nawab has been jailed twice in the past for inciting riots. Police say that the Gangs of Wasseypur WhatsApp group has played an important role in instigating the Ranchi violence. Through this group, people were being instigated by making the message of the demonstration viral for several days. After the arrest, the police interrogated the accused, in which he has confessed his crime before the police. Here, the police has also started searching for other people involved in that group. Police say that those people will also be questioned.According to the information received, Ranchi Police did investigation and verification after receiving information about Nawab Chishti, then it came to know that Nawab Chishti of Yunus Chowk Doranda spreads religious frenzy and incites riots by sending various types of messages on social media. He has been jailed in Doranda Police Station Case No.-227/2019, Section-295(A)/153/153(A) on July 4, 2019, for inciting riots and violence through his message. He is an accused in that case. The police also came to know in the investigation that he was sent to jail in the same year for inciting riots from Hindpidhi police station.Has gone to jail for murderNawab Chishti and Tabrez Ansari alias Shera were arrested by the Hindpiri police on July 31, 2019, for attacking Vivek Srivastava and Deepak with a knife on July 5, 2019, near Ekra Masjid. Both were sent to jail.
