Israel-Gaza Conflict: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected US President Joe Biden's request not to attack Rafah. After gaining control over Rafah, the southern city of Gaza, the Israeli army has launched a massive air attack. Palestinian residents said Israeli forces launched a massive bombardment of areas in Rafah on Thursday. At least 12 people, including women and children, have died in this attack. Israel's relations with America may deteriorate further after this attack on Rafah.

Before the attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also rejected US President Joe Biden's threat to stop the supply of weapons and take back the weapons already given if Rafah was attacked. Benjamin Netanyahu had said before the attack that his forces had enough weapons to fight Hamas. Israel alone is enough for Hamas. A senior Israeli official said late Thursday that the latest round of indirect talks in Cairo to end the war in Gaza had also ended with the attack. Israel will now proceed with the operation in Rafah and other parts of the Gaza Strip as per its plan.

Israel expressed objection to the ceasefire

"We have submitted our objections to the mediators regarding Hamas' proposal for a deal to release the hostages," the Israeli official said. Netanyahu said in a video statement, "If we must, we will fight with our fingers." "But we have more than just our fingernails." Palestinian militant groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad said their fighters attacked Israeli tanks on the eastern outskirts of the city in Gaza with anti-tank rockets and mortars. At least 12 people, including women and children, were killed in Israeli air strikes on two houses in the Sabra neighborhood on Rafah.
