India's tour of England will begin with a one-off Test match to be played on July 1. After this rescheduled match, Team India has to play three match T20 and ODI series of equal number of matches against the hosts. Before the limited overs series against England, a good news has come out for Team India. English team's star spinner Adil Rashid will neither play T20 nor ODI series against India. Yes, this player had sought leave from the ECB for Haj pilgrimage, which he has got permission for.

It is being told that Rasheed will fly for Haj on Saturday and he will return home only by mid-July. In such a situation, he will miss the limited over series against India. It is expected that this player will return to the team in the upcoming series against South Africa. Virat Kohli must have heaved a sigh of relief with Rashid out of the team. Kohli's record in the limited overs format has not been good against Rashid.

Rashid has dismissed Kohli three times in 8 innings in ODI cricket, while in T20 cricket he has shown the way to the pavilion twice in the same innings.

Talking to ESPNcricinfo, Rashid said that he always wanted to do it but was not getting the time. This year he felt it was the right time to do something.

Rashid said: "I spoke to the ECB and Yorkshire. They understood and supported me. They said I can go and come back whenever I want. My wife and I will be out for a few weeks. It's up to us." It's a big moment. Different things happen in every religion. This is the biggest thing in Islam. It's a series against India. It didn't come to my mind, I thought I had to go."

The limited over series between India and England will start with the first T20 to be played on 7 July. This will be followed by the next two matches on 9 and 10 July. After the T20 series, the first ODI will be played on 12 July. The other two matches of the ODI series will be played on July 14 and 17.
