When Mahadev Mohite, Deputy Conservator of Forests of Satara District Forest Department was asked about this, he said that we have not yet received information that Nipah virus has been found in the swabs of bats in the caves of Mahabaleshwar. Satara District Collector Shekhar Singh said that at present Mahabaleshwar-Pachgani tourist destination has been closed. But there is no danger of Nipah virus. We are preparing to open both these tourist places soon. The wave of corona is decreasing. Soon we will start tourism in limited quantity keeping in mind the safety for the common people. According to the report of NIV, Nipah virus has been found, but there is no need to be afraid of it.
