Lockdown could now no longer be imposed in Maharashtra withinside the coming days, health minister Rajesh Tope stated on Friday.
"There isn't any possibility of fresh lockdown withinside the close to future. I appeal to people to avoid crowding even as celebrating the Ganesh festival. The celebration has to be simple," he informed reporters.
"The authorities have been issuing diverse guidelines and that they have to be followed all of the time," he added. Maharashtra suggested 4,313 new COVID-19 instances and 92 deaths on Friday.
