New Delhi. After the cancellation of CBSE's 12th board examination, students and parents are now worried that on what basis the result will be made. There will be pre board, class results, assessment or any other method. If the result will be prepared on the basis of pre board, then the percentage may come down, because the schools do tight marking in the pre board, so that the student can study more. In this regard, educationists say that CBSE will not prepare the result on the basis of any one parameter, for this 3 to 4 parameters can be taken.

Ashok Pandey, educationist and director of Alcon Group of Schools, says that this decision of the government is welcome. The confusion between the student and the parent is over. The verdict will help bring the student and parent out of emotional trauma. Now it is useless to discuss that this will spoil the future of the children. This misconception should not be spread. The centrally based examination has been canceled but CBSE should give some time on how the result will be prepared, so that it can take a decision on it after taking expert opinion.

There is a possibility that the result will be prepared on the basis of 3 to 4 parameters. No one assessment shall be made on the basis of 100% result, it may have a weightage of 10 per cent or 15 per cent. For this, internal assessment like pre board can be included, it is not necessary to take the lowest percentage, maybe the highest percentage should be taken. The school has had one or two assessments in the name of the board, whether in the name of project or practical, a parameter that is also likely to be included.

Apart from this, the performance of the student for the last three years can also be taken. It is also possible that a short assessment may be done for the children. It is difficult to call students for the board, but such online assessment is possible. In this way the result can be prepared on the basis of 3 or 4 assessments. At the same time, the chairman of Vidya Bal Bhavan, Dr. Satveer Sharma says that it is certain to include the numbers of the pre board for the result, apart from this the result can also be prepared on the basis of internal assessment.
