US President Joe Biden will travel to Japan next month and attend the Quad Summit in Tokyo. During this, he will also meet the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Let us tell you that this will be the second time this year that both the leaders will meet each other again. This was informed by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki. Jen Psaki said the purpose of the visit is to advance the Biden-Harris administration's solid commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific region. Even before this, the two leaders met in September 2021 during the QUAD summit. This face-to-face meeting between Narendra Modi and Joe Biden is considered to be very important amid the situation arising due to the Russo-Ukraine war.

Biden will also meet leaders of other countries

Jen Psaki said Biden would also hold bilateral meetings with South Korean President Eun Suk Yeol and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio. Our leaders will discuss opportunities to deepen important security ties, enhance economic ties and expand our close cooperation to deliver practical results. In Tokyo, President Biden will also meet with the leaders of the Quad Grouping from Australia, Japan, India and the United States. The White House press secretary looks forward to sharing more details about the visit soon.
