India / PM Modi Will Visit Lucknow Today To Attend 'Urban Conclave' Also Inaugurate Several Schemes

PM Modi in UP: On the special occasion of 75th year of independence of the country, Uttar Pradesh is going to get the gift of 75 projects. PM Modi, who is coming to Lucknow today, will inaugurate the three-day national 'New Urban India Conclave' here. Along with this, 75 projects worth 4737 crores will also be inaugurated and foundation stone will be laid. This program is likely to start at 10:30 am.

An official statement on Monday said that Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will also participate in the program organized on the theme of 'New Urban India'. Rajnath Singh came to Lucknow on Monday itself. Lucknow is the parliamentary constituency of Rajnath Singh.

Will give keys of housing to 75 thousand poor

In this program, Prime Minister Modi will also hand over keys from digital medium to 75,000 beneficiaries of 75 districts under PM Awas Yojana (Urban) and will also have virtual conversations with some of the beneficiaries of the scheme. Along with this, under the Smart City Mission, he will also release a coffee table book based on 75 success stories of 10 smart cities of Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, 75 electric buses will also be flagged off for the districts of Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Ghaziabad and Varanasi. He will also visit three exhibitions being organized at the expo. The Prime Minister will also announce the establishment of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Peeth at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow.

There will also be a live presentation of the ICCC/ITMS project implemented in different cities of the state under the Smart City Mission. The Prime Minister will launch Integrated Command and Control Centers, Intelligent Traffic Management System projects in Agra, Aligarh, Bareilly, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, Moradabad and Ayodhya under Smart City Mission.
