Germany | Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a three-day tour of Europe, said on Monday that the war between Russia and Ukraine will have no winner. He said that India believes in finding a solution to the problem through dialogue. After talks with German Chancellor Olf Scholz, PM Modi said- We discussed the ongoing war in Ukraine. There will be no winner in the confrontation in Ukraine. We are in favor of peace and call for an end to the war. Earlier on Sunday, Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra, while taking India's side on the Russo-Ukraine war, said that both the countries should try to end the hostilities and resolve the matter through dialogue and diplomacy.

Vinay Mohan Kwatra had said – As far as India is concerned about Ukraine, India's stand is very clear. We have been saying from the beginning that both the countries should end the enmity and come to the negotiation table through dialogue and diplomacy. He said that India's global allies also know India's opinion on the Russo-Ukraine war and have appreciated India's side.

Significantly, after Russia's attack on Ukraine on February 24, India has been continuously appealing to Russia and Ukraine to end the war and resolve the issue through dialogue. India has presented its stand on the Russo-Ukraine war from many global forums and even today India remains on the same stand that the problem should be resolved through dialogue between the two countries.
