Indian Army: India has fought four major wars so far. The biggest problem of the country is that the neighbors on both sides are your enemies. You have to be alert all the time. Right now all the three armies of India are ready to deal with every situation.

But there is a need for Theater Commands. That is, all the three forces should work together. There are currently 17 different commands in India. And a theater command is present in Andaman and Nicobar. You must be thinking that even now all the three forces work together. But why theater command (What Is Theater Command) is necessary. Actually, now there are separate bases of land, water and air force.

All the three forces will fight together

When the Kargil War was fought in 1999, the need for Airforce was felt but it was taking a long time to reach. The enemy was moving forward, but the Airforce took off ahead of time and camouflaged the enemies. There will be a mix of all the three services in the theater commands. Where the soldiers of all the three forces will be ready together. Former CDS Bipin Rawat had prepared for this to a large extent. He wanted theater commands to be formed as soon as possible.

CCC meeting

On April 1 this year, a high-level meeting of the Army was held in Madhya Pradesh. PM Modi took part in it. The Combined Commanders' Conference (CCC) meeting is held once every two years. PM Modi emphasized on theater commands in this meeting. After this, CDS Anil Chauhan visited the Western Naval Command. He is personally working on joint command. After meeting here, he reached the army headquarters in South. After PM Modi's message, now the CDS wants to implement it as soon as possible.

After this, met the officers at the South Command Headquarters in Pune today. It looks like the CDS Theater Command will be fully active in the next two years with all the three services.
