Mumbai: As soon as Tandav released on the OTT platform, the series seems to be surrounded by controversies. And due to this, police protection was provided outside Kareena Kapoor Khan's house.

Viewers on social media are directly alleging that Lord Shiva and Lord Ram have been insulted in this. Kapil Mishra has also jumped into this controversy. And has appealed to Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar to ban Tandav.

Along with this, BJP MLA Ram Kadam has also raised objections. He said that why insults of Hindu deities are becoming a trend in films and web series?

The whole controversy is on a scene of the first episode on the Tandava web series. In this, actor Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub is seen disguised as Lord Shiva and while addressing the students of the university, he says that from whom do you want freedom? As soon as they come to the stage, a stage operator says, 'Narayan-Narayan. God do something. Ramji's followers are constantly increasing on social media.

People are objecting to the video of this part of the first episode of the web series. One section on Twitter says that showing Shiva's form in this way and commenting about Lord Rama cannot be accepted.
