G20 Summit 2023: Next month i.e. in September, the G-20 Summit meeting is to be held in Delhi, the national capital of India. During this, heads of state and organizations of many countries will come to Delhi. It was being discussed that Russian President Vladimir Putin can also participate in the G-20 Summit meeting to be held in Delhi. However, Russia has completely cleared these speculations and has said that Putin will not attend the G-20 summit meeting to be held in India. Russian President Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov says that President Vladimir Putin has no plans to attend the G-20 summit meeting to be held in India. This meeting was to be held in Delhi in September and special military operation was to be discussed in it.

Putin did not even attend the BRICS meeting

Russian President Putin did not personally attend the recently held BRICS conference meeting in South Africa. Putin addressed the BRICS Business Forum through video conferencing. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had reached South Africa instead of Putin in the BRICS meeting.

Putin can be arrested on foreign tour?

In fact, President Putin has not personally reached the stage of any such international organization since the beginning of the war between Russia and Ukraine. The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant against Putin for war crimes in Ukraine. Russia has also strongly protested against this decision of the ICC. It is said that if Putin travels to any other country after this warrant, he can also be arrested.

Wagner Group may also be afraid

By the way, it was believed that Putin would definitely come to participate in the G-20. He was also scheduled to attend the BRICS summit in South Africa. But South Africa is a member of the IC. So when Putin went there, the pressure would be on him to arrest him. While Barat is not a member of IEC. Therefore, there was no threat to Putin coming to India to attend the G-20 summit. That is why Putin had not yet refused to come to India. But Yevgini Prigozhin, chief of Russia's private army Wagner Group, who rebelled against Putin just two days ago, has died in a plane crash. Wagner Group is calling it a conspiracy. He has also threatened to avenge Prigozhin's death. It is being said that one of the reasons may also be that Putin is trying to avoid traveling abroad in such circumstances from the point of view of security.

G-20 meeting on 8, 9 and 10 September in Delhi

Amidst these possibilities, it has been made clear from Russia that President Putin will not participate in the G-20 summit meeting to be held in India next month. India is presiding over the G-20 summit this time. During this, different meetings of the G-20 Summit have been organized in different cities of the country.
