LPG Expensive / Price of commercial LPG increased by Rs 250 per cylinder from today, an increase of 346 in two months

The prices of commercial LPG have increased once again in the country. From April 1, its 19 kg cylinders have become 250 expensive. Now in Delhi it will be available for Rs 2253. However, there has been no increase in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders.

In the last two months, the price of 19 kg of commercial LPG has increased by Rs 346 per cylinder. Earlier on March 1, their prices were increased by Rs 105. Then nine rupees were reduced. On March 1, a 19 kg LPG cylinder was available in Delhi for Rs 2012, which reduced by Rs 9 on March 22 to Rs 2003. But after an increase of Rs 250 from today it became Rs 2253. Whereas in Kolkata this cylinder will be available for Rs 2351, in Mumbai for 2205 and in Chennai commercial LPG cylinder will be available for Rs 2406. This reduction in rates will largely be due to state and local taxes.

After the elections of five states, the process of increasing the prices of petrol, diesel and LPG continues. On March 22, the price of subsidized domestic LPG cylinder was also increased by Rs 50. However, there was no increase in domestic LPG prices from October 2021 onwards.

Domestic LPG cylinders are currently available at these prices in four metros of the country. It is being provided at Rs 949.50 in Delhi, Rs 976 in Kolkata, Rs 949.50 in Mumbai and Rs 965.50 in Chennai.
