Rahul Gandhi Challenges Government Amid Delhi Protests, Urges Youth To Continue Resistance

Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi have launched a scathing attack on the central government and RSS during the ongoing Delhi protests. Rahul Gandhi encouraged the youth to keep protesting while Priyanka Gandhi alleged a transition from democracy to dictatorship, citing the detention of 254 MPs and the shutdown of essential services.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has launched a fierce and direct attack on the central government and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) amidst the intense protests currently unfolding in Delhi, while speaking with a sense of defiance, Rahul Gandhi stated that the opposition is surrounding the government from all sides and won't step back under any circumstances. He challenged the authorities by saying that they could call in as many police personnel as they desired, whether it be 10000, 20000, or even 50000, and could proceed with arrests, but the movement would continue unabated. He emphasized that the voice of the people of India would be protected at all costs.

A Decade of Struggle and Understanding the Opponent

Rahul Gandhi elaborated on his long-standing opposition to the current regime and its ideological backbone, the RSS. He mentioned that he has been fighting against these forces for more than 1 decade. Through this extensive period of political conflict, he claimed to have developed a deep understanding of his rivals, stating that he understands them as well as anyone could understand their opponent. He asserted that he knows them from the inside and is well-acquainted with every move they make. According to Rahul Gandhi, the most defining characteristic of these individuals is cowardice. He suggested that their actions are driven by fear and that their influence is gradually shrinking as they find themselves increasingly cornered.

Specific Targets and the Shrinking Circle

In his sharp critique, Rahul Gandhi didn't hesitate to name specific high-profile individuals within the government and its allied structures. He directed his attack towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. Rahul Gandhi claimed that the circle around these individuals is tightening and they're being surrounded from all directions. He sent a clear message to the administration, stating that they could arrest all the leaders and all the youth, but the opposition already possesses the information they need and won't be intimidated by the show of force.

A Call to the Youth and Constitutional Defense

Addressing the younger generation of the country, Rahul Gandhi expressed immense pride in their courage, while he urged the youth of India to continue their protests and assured them that the Congress party and the opposition stand firmly with them. He vowed to protect the Constitution of India and ensure that the events of the last 10 to 15 years, which he views as detrimental to the nation, are never repeated under any circumstances. He emphasized that the goal is to ensure a defeat for those who attack the government structures and the constitutional framework of the country.

Priyanka Gandhi Alleges Dictatorship and Rigging

Joining the attack, Priyanka Gandhi also targeted the government over the detention of opposition members. She pointed out that the government first mistreated 254 MPs and then detained them in a completely illegal manner, which she described as a blatant violation of their fundamental constitutional rights. She noted that similar treatment was meted out to other protesters from various opposition parties. Priyanka Gandhi highlighted the extreme measures taken by the administration, such as the siege of the national capital through the use of barricades, the sealing of borders, the suspension of train and metro services, the shutdown of the internet, and the establishment of numerous check posts. She condemned the physical assault and detention of young men and women who were merely exercising their constitutional right to protest.

The Question of Accountability and Democracy

Priyanka Gandhi further alleged that these actions are clear evidence of election rigging carried out in complicity with the Election Commission. She stated that the government is acting out of fear because its illegal truths are being exposed and accountability is being demanded. She declared that India is no longer a democracy but has turned into a dictatorship run by Mr. Narendra Modi and Mr, while amit Shah. She concluded by stating that anyone who is collaborating with them to destroy democracy is committing an act of treachery against the country. The leaders maintained that the struggle to safeguard the democratic essence of India would continue despite the heavy-handedness of the state machinery.
