Bharat Jodo Yatra has reached the country's capital Delhi after covering a distance of about 3000 kms. On Monday, the yatra's convenor and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached the mausoleums of several former prime ministers of India in Delhi. During this, he always paid tribute to former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee by reaching Atal.

The political temperature in Delhi, which is chilling due to Rahul's 'always atal' departure, has increased. The official spokesperson of BJP raised the question and termed it as a sham. Party spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia says- On one hand Rahul always goes to Atal to pay tribute and on the other hand party leaders use abusive words. It shows how much poison is inside you.

Why did Rahul go on 'Sadaiv Atal'?

The Congress says that Rahul Gandhi is engaged in uniting India and is trying to bring all the communities together. Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been the Prime Minister of the country, so had come to pay tribute to him. However, there is a lot of discussion in political circles for two reasons.

1. Everyone's adamant in politics- Atal Bihari remained in opposition for most of the time in politics. While in opposition, Vajpayee was a staunch critic of Nehru to Indira, Rajiv and Sonia. Despite this, Atal was loved by all. Vajpayee's politics was based on issues and ideas. He never made a personal attack on anyone.

2. Against the politics of bigotry - Atal Bihari had told an anecdote in the Parliament. He said that when I was the foreign minister, the officials removed Pandit Nehru's pictures from the ministry. I immediately instructed to install it. Many of his statements are still in discussion today. Vajpayee used to do politics of coordination.

What is the message behind the tribute, 4 points

The Congress wants to tell the public the difference between the Modi and Atal regimes. The party high command believes that hatred has increased in the country during the Modi government as compared to Vajpayee.

Congress wants to give this message that everyone was listened to in Atal Bihari's government, but only 2 people run in the present government. Party general secretary Jairam Ramesh has told Shah-Modi not to be invited for the yatra.

Talking to a news website, CSDS co-director Sanjay Kumar said that Rahul is trying to tell that instead of small political gains, Congress does politics to unite the country. BJP does not know how to respect the leaders who let go for the country.

With the help of Atal, Congress is trying to re-enter soft Hindutva politics. Party leader Gaurav Pandhi had made a tweet regarding the Babri demolition and Atal Bihari, which was got deleted by the high command.

Sonia also called after the Parliament attack

It is the duty of every leader and citizen of the country to respect their former prime ministers and their legacy. Rahul is doing the same. Those people are getting surprised about this, who have failed to do so.
