In this 12 people got buried and they have died. According to reports, some more people are feared trapped under the debris of the wall.

Relief and rescue work has been started at the spot. Efforts are on to clear the debris of the wall and the injured have been admitted to the hospital. But the incessant rain is creating problems in the rescue operation. So far 16 people have been rescued in Chembur.

Water was flooded inside houses located in many areas of Mayanagari. In Hanuman Nagar area, the rain water accumulated so much that it entered the houses there. Due to this people had to suffer a lot. The essential items kept inside people's houses also got soaked due to water. At the same time, the roads in Borivali area of ​​the city were also flooded with water, due to which even the vehicles parked there had to be removed from there.
