Next to Virat Kohli is only Sachin Tendulkar who has scored 100 centuries in international cricket. When Ponting was asked if Kohli could break Sachin's record, he said, 'If you had asked me three years ago, I would have said yes. But the fact that it has slowed down as much as ... yes, I still think it is possible for him, no doubt about it.'

He further said, 'I think he still has many years left, but I think he is still 30 international hundreds behind which is quite a lot. In the next three to four years, he scored five and six Test centuries, and if he got a few hundreds from ODIs and T20s, it could happen. You can't say no to Virat because you know how hungry he is for success.
