Robin Uthappa had announced his retirement from all formats of cricket on 14 September 2022 itself. Robin Uthappa was part of the 2007 T20 World Cup team. Robin Uthappa made his debut in Team India in the year 2006. Robin Uthappa batted in almost every order from middle order to upper order. He played 46 ODIs and 13 T20 matches for Team India. He made 934 runs in ODIs at an average of 25.94, while in T20s he scored 249 runs at an average of 24.9.
