Russia-Ukraine War: Russia carried out another catastrophic attack on Ukraine's capital Kiev on Sunday night. In this attack, Russia used 805 drones and various types of decoys. At least 4 people were killed in this fierce drone and missile attack, while 11 others were injured. The attack completely destroyed Kiev's Cabinet Building, and several other government buildings also collapsed. The intensity of this attack was so terrible that Kiev was shaken, and an atmosphere of panic prevailed in the city. In turn, Ukraine has claimed to have destroyed Russia's gas pipeline.

Russia's biggest drone attack on Ukraine so far

This was the biggest drone attack ever carried out by Russia since the full-scale war on Ukraine began. Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuri Ihnat told the Associated Press that Sunday's attack was the largest attack by Russian drones so far. Russia fired 805 drones as well as 13 different types of missiles. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 747 drones and four missiles were shot down or disabled. 9 missile attacks and 56 drone strikes were recorded in 37 locations across Ukraine. The debris of downed drones and missiles fell in 8 locations, causing extensive damage.

Death of a one-year-old innocent child increased the tragedy

The magnitude of the attack can be gauged from the fact that skyscrapers also collapsed, and flames and black smoke were seen rising from several buildings. Ukrainian officials said that the dead included an innocent one-year-old child, who was pulled out of the rubble. Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kiev city administration, said that the child was found dead during relief and rescue operations, which further deepened the tragedy of the incident.

Massive damage to residential buildings

Kiev Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said that the debris of the Russian drone fell in the Sviatoshinsky and Darnytsky districts of the capital, causing serious damage to a residential building. Fire brigades and emergency services rushed to the affected areas, and the injured were hospitalised. The attack left several apartments badly damaged, and vehicles parked nearby were burnt to ashes. There is an atmosphere of fear and insecurity among local residents, and many people have been temporarily relocated to safer places.

Ukraine's counter claim
