Delhi: A tremendous twist has come in the case of the alleged mass suicide of 9 people of the same family in Mhaisala, Sangli, Maharashtra. In this case, earlier the police had arrested 25 people for abetting the family to commit suicide. But a new twist in the case has come after the arrest of a tantrik and another person. It is being claimed that the tantrik had poisoned all the family members and gave the matter the color of mass suicide.

After the arrest of Tantrik Abbas Mohammad Ali and Dheeraj Chandrakant Survse, new facts have come in the case. This has changed the direction of the investigation and has turned into a case of mass suicide. Police investigation has revealed that both of them had poisoned the entire family and gave it the color of suicide. The police had come to know that both of them had come secretly from Solapur to Mhaisala on June 18, after which the police suspected both of them to be involved in the case.

On Monday last week, animal doctor Manik Vanmore, his brother Popat Vanmore, a 72-year-old mother, along with wives and children committed suicide by consuming poison. The police had arrested 13 accused on the basis of the alleged suicide note. It was claimed that the family had taken loan from some people and were not able to repay it. The family was constantly being humiliated due to non-payment of debt and for this reason everyone decided to kill themselves together.

After the incident, neighbors of Vanmore told that it was not expected that the family would commit suicide. A neighbor had also said that in the evening itself he had given a feast of panipuri. One of his daughters, who worked in a bank, also came home. In such a situation, the police had already suspected that this case could be other than suicide.
