Gufi Paintal Passes Away: Gufi Paintal, who played Shakuni Mama in the famous TV serial Mahabharata, is no more in this world. Goofy Paintal was admitted to the hospital a few days back. In between there was news that his health is improving. But suddenly he died due to deteriorating health. It is believed that the death of the actor is due to his heart failure. According to the information received, the actor's family said in a statement, "With deep sorrow, we inform about the demise of our father Mr. Goofy Paintal (Shakuni Mama). He passed away this morning amidst the family.

Goofy Pental was battling many age-related diseases for a long time. Gufi Pental was admitted to the hospital on 31 May after his health deteriorated. Apart from being an actor, Goofy also directed a few TV shows and a film titled Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. He has also worked as Associate Director, Casting Director and Production Designer with BR Films.

Goofy Paintal was the brother of the famous comedian Paintal, who worked in films like Satte Pe Satta, Rafu Chakkar, Parichay and others. Goofy Paintal was also known for his strong acting. But the fame he got by playing the character of Shakuni Mama in Mahabharata, he did not get from any other character. His work and his performance was appreciated by all.

Goofy also played the role of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar's maternal uncle in the 1994 film Suhaag. His list of films include Dillagi (1978), Des Pardes (1978), Dawa (1997) and Samrat & Company.
