IND vs PAK: In the Super-4 match of Asia Cup 2023, the Indian openers thrashed the Pakistani bowlers in such a way that the world kept watching. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill destroyed the trio of Pakistani fast bowlers. Be it Shaheen, be it Haris Rauf or be it Naseem Shah, the Indian openers took notice of everything. Gill and Rohit made a partnership of 121 runs and completely pushed Pakistan on the backfoot. After this performance of Indian batsmen, Shoaib Akhtar posted a video on social media which has gone viral. Actually, when India had scored 147 runs for 2 wickets, then it rained and then the game had to be stopped. After the game was stopped, Shoaib Akhtar posted a video saying that rain saved Pakistan.

Shoaib Akhtar said, 'Last time we surrounded India and the rain saved them. This time Pakistan got hit and was saved by the rain.' Shoaib Akhtar then said that he hopes that the match takes place on the reserve day and Pakistan does not decide to bowl first. Shoaib Akhtar probably does not know the rule of reserve day. On the reserve day, play will start from where it was stopped due to rain.

Wrong decision of Babar Azam?

Babar Azam won the toss in Colombo and decided to bowl first. But Rohit Sharma was happy with this because he wanted to bat first. Babar felt that the cloudy sky and moisture of the pitch would help Shaheen Shah Afridi but it did not happen. Rohit and especially Shubman Gill took an aggressive stance against him. Rohit opened his account by hitting a six off Shaheen's ball and Shubman hit 6 fours on his 12 balls.

Naseem Shah definitely troubled Rohit Sharma with his pace and swing but he could not stop the Indian captain from scoring a half-century. Before him, Shubman Gill also scored a half-century. However, both these players left after throwing their wickets immediately after scoring half-centuries. Rohit was dismissed by Shadab and Shaheen sent Shubman Gill back to the pavilion.
