The first gold can come in India's account in Tokyo Olympics-2020. Mirabai Chanu, who has won a silver medal in weightlifting (49 kg category), can convert the medal to gold. Actually, Chinese player Hou Zhioui is suspected of doping. There is a message in the Indian group in Tokyo that Hou Zihui is being tested and it remains to be seen what happens next. The members of the Indian delegation are not saying much in this regard.

Hou Zhioui was about to return to her country today, but she has been asked to stay. This has happened for the first time in Olympic history, when a player's medal was taken away for failing doping.

Chanu won the silver medal in clean and jerk by lifting a total of 202 kg from 115 kg and 87 kg in snatch. Hou Zhioui of China won the gold medal with a total of 210 kg (94 kg in snatch, 116 kg in clean and jerk). Indonesia's Aisah Windi Kantika won the bronze medal by lifting a total of 194 kg.

Mirabai made up for the disappointing performance of the 2016 Rio Olympics by winning a medal at the Tokyo Olympics. Mirabai, the only weightlifter to have qualified for Tokyo, failed to make a single out of three clean and jerk attempts at the Rio Olympics.

Mirabai now holds a world record in clean and jerk in women's 49kg category. He lifted 119 kg in his final tournament Asian Championship before the Tokyo Olympics and won gold in this category and bronze in overall weight.
