Stock Market / Slow start of the stock market, Sensex opened by breaking 90 points, Nifty below 17500

On Monday, the first trading day of the week, the stock market opened on the red mark. Both the indices of the market, Sensex of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) started trading with a fall. Sensex lost 92 points to open at 58,552 level, while Nifty slipped 25 points to open at 17,491 level. It is worth noting that on Friday, the last day of the trading week, the stock market opened on the red mark and finally closed with a fall after a day's trading. The Sensex closed at 58,644, down 143 points, while the Nifty closed at 17,516, down 43 points.
