Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) said in a statement issued on Saturday that Jammu cricketer Vanshaj Sharma has been banned for two years by the Board of Control for Cricket in India for submitting multiple birth certificates with different dates of birth. During this period, he will not be able to be a part of any BCCI tournament.

Will stay away from big tournaments for 2 years

The ban imposed on Vashanja Sharma has started from October 27. He will be able to participate in tournaments at any level only after serving a two-year ban. Vanshaj Sharma will not be able to participate in any age group tournament during this period. This means that he can only participate in senior men's BCCI tournaments after the completion of the 2-year ban period.
