Jharkhand Politics: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has received a big blow from the Supreme Court in the matter of arrest and ED summons. The Supreme Court has refused to hear the case and said that you should first go to the High Court. Meanwhile, Champai Soren will take oath as the new Chief Minister of Jharkhand today between 12 noon and 1 pm. Earlier, Hemant Soren was presented in the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court on Thursday. Where the court had sent Hemant Soren to judicial custody for one day. After which he was sent to Birsa Munda jail of Ranchi.

ED asked for 10 days remand of Hemant Soren from the court

The Supreme Court refused to hear Hemant Soren's petition against the arrest made by ED in the money laundering case and asked him to approach the High Court. On Thursday itself, Governor CP Radhakrishnan invited Champai Soren to take oath. Champai Soren will take oath as CM of Jharkhand today. They will have to prove majority within 10 days. The Governor called Jharkhand Mukti Morcha legislature party leader Champai Soren and Congress leader Alamgir Alam to Raj Bhavan late at night and invited Champai Soren to form the government.

Hemant was arrested on Wednesday night

Let us tell you that Hemant Soren was arrested by ED on Wednesday night after seven hours of interrogation in the money laundering case. He had resigned from the post of Chief Minister before his arrest. After this Champai Soren was elected leader of JMM Legislative Party. Champai Soren had said that we are united. Our alliance is very strong; No one can break it. A video released by the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-led alliance also showed the support of 43 MLAs in the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly. The MLAs of the alliance had created a ruckus in the Raj Bhavan due to the Governor not administering the oath.
