The Taliban said it had captured Islam Kala, a town on the border with Iran.

A Taliban delegation in Moscow claimed to have captured 250 of Afghanistan's 398 districts. However, that claim cannot be confirmed. The Afghan government has also not said anything about it. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that their Islam had been captured in the black town.

All American soldiers will go back by August 31

At the same time, government officials say that the conflict with the Taliban continues. A spokesman for the Afghan Interior Ministry said that all Afghan security forces are present in the area.
