The Indian cricket team is reportedly on the verge of a significant transition within its support staff following the conclusion of the upcoming T20 series against England. While the team prepares for the high-octane clashes on the field, off-field developments suggest that the coaching setup led by Gautam Gambhir might see some departures. According to a report by the Times of India, the winds of change are blowing, and it's expected that more than one member of the current coaching staff could step down from their respective roles once the series concludes. The exact reasons behind these departures remain a subject of speculation, particularly regarding whether they're linked to the team's recent performances.

Contractual Obligations and the IPL Shift

The primary reason behind these potential exits appears to be linked to the contractual agreements between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the support staff. The report indicates that the members had initially signed a 2+1 year contract. This arrangement provided an initial two-year term with an optional one-year extension. As the initial phase of this agreement reaches its conclusion, some members are looking at alternative opportunities.
