Pujara does not play IPL and has already shifted to England two months ago. Pujara has once again reached to play the county. In such a situation, this dashing batsman has started preparations for the final of the World Test Championship through the county. Pujara hit a century

Senior India batsman Cheteshwar Pujara scored a century in Sussex's first match of the season against Durham in the County Championship Division Two. In this match, Sussex captain Pujara scored a century in 134 balls. At one stage the score was 44 for two but Pujara scored 115 off 163 balls and shared a 112-run partnership with Tom Clarke. This was the 57th century of Pujara's first class career. In this innings, he hit 13 fours and also hit a six. Due to his innings, the team had scored 332 runs for 9 wickets by the end of the day. Earlier, Durham was all out for 376 runs by Sussex.

Cheteshwar Pujara did amazing batting for Sussex last season as well. He scored five centuries in 10 innings in the County Championship in June-July last year, including one innings of 203 runs. Pujara's international career was in tatters at that time. But he came back with a bang through the county and after that again left his mark for Team India. Recently, on the tour of Bangladesh, he also scored a flamboyant century in Chattogram and showed his new form to the world. In the current World Test Championship 2021-23, Pujara has scored 887 runs in 30 innings of 16 matches, which includes 6 half-centuries and a century.
