Shri Ramjanmabhoomitirtha Kshetra Trust Secretary Champat Rai told that the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya is going on at a fast pace and in December this year the sanctum sanctorum of the temple will be ready for the consecration of the idol of Lord Ram.

It is being considered to install such an idol of Lord Ram in this temple, which the devotees can easily see from a distance of 30 to 35 feet. Now Lord Ram is in the form of a child in the temporary temple. About 6 inch idol of Ashtadhatu is in sitting position. Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said that apart from this idol will be installed in the Ram temple of Ayodhya, a big idol of Lord Ram will also be installed, which will be of the child form of Lord Ram.

Let us inform that a meeting of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust was held in Ayodhya on Wednesday. In the meeting, there was discussion on the kind of idol of Lord Ram to be installed in the Ram temple. Devotees coming to the Ram temple will be able to see from a distance of 30 to 35 feet only, so it is being considered to install such a big statue in the Ram temple so that the devotees can see the feet and eyes of Lord Ram in the form of a child from a distance of 30 to 35 feet. The eyes of the devotee and Ramlala should be in one line. Apart from this, the Ram temple is being built in such a way that on the day of Ram Navami, the sunlight directly illuminates the mind of Lord Ram. For this also the idol should be about eight and a half feet high along with the pedestal.

Most of the people of the trust are of the opinion that there should be an idol of Ramlala aged 5 to 6 years in the temple, the idol should be standing. Many painters will first make a picture of the idol of Ramlala to be installed in the Ram temple, then the picture will be seen which picture is touching the heart. Sculptors will make an idol of 9 to 12 inches from it, Ramlala's eyes, nose, ears, toes will be seen in the idol. Then a decision will be taken about the statue of Lord Ram's child form to be installed in the Ram temple and then the team of experts will make the idol of Ramlala. It will take 5 to 6 months to make the idol.
