Durgapur (Jharkhand) - The Kasmar block of Bokaro in Durgapur village of Jharkhand does not celebrate Holi. About 1000 people living in this village have not celebrated the festival of Holi for more than 100 years. People claim that if someone blew the colors of Holi, then his death is certain.The villagers say that 100 years ago a king played Holi here, which he had to pay. The king's son died on the day of Holi. Incidentally, the king also died on the day of Holi. Before dying, the king ordered the people here not to celebrate Holi.Tamil Nadu - People living in Tamil Nadu also do not traditionally celebrate Holi, as is celebrated every year in North India.
