In these states, the mercury can exceed 40 to 44 degrees and can be several degrees above normal. Delhi NCR is also not expecting relief from the scorching heat for almost a week now.

The maximum temperature was 41.6 degrees in Palam, 44 in Gurugram and 44.1 in Mangeshpur. That is, understand that the big part of NCR is getting scorched by the wrath of the sun. On Thursday, hot dusty winds will blow and the maximum temperature can go up to 43. The temperature of Delhi NCR is expected to remain between 43 to 44 degrees till May 2. After May 2, the temperature may drop slightly due to cloud cover.
On the other hand, private weather agency Skymet has also predicted Vidarbha, Interior Odisha, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Madhya Maharashtra and isolated- The return of heat has been predicted in different parts. During the next 24 to 48 hours, one or two parts of Telangana may also experience heat wave conditions.
