India-Pakistan War / The plane was about to fly with a nuclear missile, Trump made a big claim on India-Pakistan war

Even three months after the India-Pakistan conflict ended, US President Donald Trump claims that his initiative made the ceasefire possible, which averted a nuclear war. India says that this happened due to DGMO dialogue. Trump also reiterated his claim of ending 6 wars in 6 months.

India-Pakistan War: Three months have passed since the four-day military conflict between India and Pakistan ended in May 2025, but US President Donald Trump's claim is still in the headlines. Trump has been repeatedly saying that the ceasefire between the two countries was possible due to his mediation. He also claims that this conflict could have turned into a nuclear war. On Thursday, 14 August 2025, Trump again reiterated at the White House that this dispute ended due to his intervention.

India's clear denial

India has denied Trump's claims from the beginning. India says that the ceasefire was decided through direct communication between the military chiefs (DGMO) of the two countries. The Indian side made it clear that there was no mediation of any third party in this. On May 10, 2025, India issued an official statement saying that the ceasefire was completely bilateral and the US had no direct role in it.

Trump's new statement

Trump recently said that India and Pakistan's fighter jets were shooting down each other and six-seven planes were destroyed. According to him, the situation was so tense that both countries were probably ready to use nuclear weapons. Trump claimed that the matter was resolved due to his initiative. He also said that in the last six months he has ended six wars, including the India-Pakistan conflict.

Trump also repeated this claim several times on social media. On May 10, he announced that India and Pakistan agreed to a "complete and immediate" ceasefire. Since then, he has repeated this claim more than 30 times, even though India has rejected it every time.

Promise of tariff and trade on India

Trump's statement comes at a time when he has imposed a 50 percent tariff on India. Despite this, he claimed that if India and Pakistan stop fighting, the US will do "a lot of trade" with both countries. This statement reflects his approach in which he promises economic benefits by taking credit for ending global conflicts.

Statement before meeting Putin

This statement of Trump has come just before the important meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15, 2025. The purpose of this meeting is being told to try to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Trump said that he thought that ending the Russia-Ukraine war would be the easiest, but it turned out to be the most difficult. He claimed that if he were not the president, Putin would have occupied the whole of Ukraine. Trump also said that his second meeting, which would include Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and himself, would be more important.
