More than 800 prisoners escaped from jail

After this the robbers entered the jail with guns and freed their companions. 834 prisoners escaped from the jail after the prison wall collapsed. Although the police have re-captured 262 escaped prisoners by running a campaign and the search is on for 575 prisoners. All the absconding prisoners were under trial.

Jail officials said that it is a matter of relief that the robbers could not reach the cells of the women prisoners. He could not harm the women prisoners.

Robbers are continuously targeting the jails

Significantly, the bandits are constantly targeting the jail to free their comrades. The attack on the prison in Oyo province is the third major attack on the prison this year. In April this year, bandits freed 1,800 prisoners by attacking a prison in Imo province. Apart from this, 266 prisoners were freed by attacking the robber prison in Kogi province last month.
