It is seen in the video that women working in the restaurant are stopping a journalist named Anita Chaudhary from entering the restaurant.

Richa Chadha criticizes the restaurant

They say that saree does not come under smart casual dress code so you will not be allowed inside. In such a situation, Anita made this video and posted it on social media and people are expressing their displeasure about this restaurant. Actress Richa Chadha has also condemned the incident through a meme.

Please tell that the name of this restaurant is Aquila. While sharing this video, Richa Chadha has criticized the behavior of the people of the restaurant. Retweeting this video, Richa wrote, 'This is rudeness, doing evil to our traditional clothes. Degrading our language is evidence of post colonization trauma. Because of this, fascism increases and it makes the trauma even bigger'. Further Richa wrote, 'Sari is smart, not your policy'. Along with this, she has written the hashtag Saree Not Sorry Aquila. The reaction of many people is being seen on this post of Richa and people are trolling the people of the restaurant, showing their consent.

Let us inform that when Anita questioned her refusal to go inside, the lady employee there said, 'Ma'am, we give entry only to smart casuals and sarees do not come in smart casuals'. Since then, Anita posted this video on social media and so far many comments have come on it.

One user wrote, 'Really, such food and drink places have no right to exist even in independent India. I am sure there is a need to cancel the licenses of such restaurant-clubs which are against ethnic wear'. Another user wrote, 'To deny entry, wearing torn jeans and wearing crappy shoes is completely understandable but refusing entry because of wearing a sari is foolish'.
