IPL 2024: IPL is going to start on March 22 with the match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The teams have almost completed their preparations for the tournament. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Royals team captained by Sanju Samson has suffered a big setback, due to which the tension of the team has doubled. A star player of the team has been ruled out for the entire IPL 2024 season due to personal reasons. This player is none other than Australian spinner Adam Gempa. Adam Zampa has informed the team due to personal reasons and has withdrawn from the IPL.

The team had given crores of rupees

Gempa was retained by Rajasthan Royals on a contract worth Rs 1.5 crore ahead of the December auction in Dubai, but according to a report by ESPN Cricinfo, he will not be available in IPL 2024. His schedule has been quite busy in recent times with the ODI World Cup and BBL played in India as well as Australia's white ball series against India, West Indies and New Zealand. Due to which now he wanted to spend time with his family. Recently he has also become a father.

Rajasthan Royals have two of the best spinners in India in the form of R Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal, so the team will not miss them much, but as a foreign player, they will have to find a replacement for Gempa. He took eight wickets at 23.50 with an economy rate of 8.54 last season, including 3 for 22 in the home win over Chennai Super Kings. Apart from Gempa, famous Krishna is also not playing IPL this season due to injury. In such a situation, the bowling unit of the team has suffered a double blow.
