After the retention of players by the franchises for IPL 2024, now is the time for their auction, for which the last date for players from all over the world to register their names is 30th November. It is reported that the players are busy registering their names for the auction to be held on December 19. According to an estimate, this time 10 times more players are going to enroll themselves than the number of vacant seats.

While registering their names for the IPL auction, players will also have to provide NOC from the cricket boards of their respective countries to BCCI. However, registering the name will not mean that the player's name will also appear in the auction. The number of players in the auction will be possible only if they are shortlisted.

Players are going to try their luck 10 times in IPL 2024!

This time the Indian Cricket Board is willing to field 70 players in the auction, for which approximately Rs 262.95 crore has been allotted. If we talk about the 10 teams participating in IPL 2024, then a total of 77 players' slots are vacant, out of which 30 are of foreign players. To fill the vacant place of these 70-77 players, more than 700 players are expected to register.

These big players can enter the IPL 2024 auction

Those who have registered their names for IPL 2024 will be some big international cricketers and some from the lower class. Among the big players who can enter the IPL auction this time, there are big names like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Rachin Ravindra, Daryl Mitchell, Rahmat Shah, Ibrahim Zadran and Travis Head.

IPL 2024 will be held from the third week of March to the third week of May next year. T20 World Cup 2024 will be held right after IPL, so in that respect it can be a good stage for the players to practice.
