A hair-raising incident has come to light in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. A mother clashed with a dreaded leopard to save her five-year-old daughter. This brave mother fought with a stick to save the innocent daughter buried in the jaws of the leopard. In front of the mother's love, the dreaded leopard also gave up and ran away leaving the girl behind.

Mother Archana Meshram, along with her 5-year-old daughter Prajakta, had gone to pluck wild vegetables near the village near Junona village, adjacent to Chandrapur city. While plucking vegetables, daughter Prajakta was standing at a distance from her mother, when the leopard which was already ambushed suddenly attacked the girl.

The leopard stuck the girl's head in the jaw. Seeing this, mother's senses were blown away. She held herself up and confronted the leopard. He picked up a stick lying nearby and started attacking the leopard. During this, the leopard left the girl, but attacked the woman.

Somehow the woman saved herself from the attack of the leopard, but the leopard again diverted attention from the woman and pounced on the girl, trapped her in the jaw and dragged her away. Seeing this sight, the woman fell behind the leopard and started attacking it continuously with a stick.

In front of this bravery of the woman, the leopard also gave up and left the girl there and fled towards the forest. The girl was badly injured in the leopard attack. The girl has suffered serious injuries to her face and head.

The woman immediately rushed her unconscious daughter to the local hospital. After first aid, the injured girl was sent to Nagpur Government Hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.

Sandeep Meshram, father of the injured daughter told that wife Archana has saved the daughter by showing great courage. Daughter's treatment is going on. The doctor has told that the condition of the injured daughter is out of danger.

Sandeep Meshram said that leopards often come here for goat hunting. This time also the leopard had come here for goat hunting, but it saw the five-year-old daughter and pounced on her.
