New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices are increasing continuously. While petrol became costlier by Rs 2.80 in 10 days in this month, diesel has increased by Rs 3.30. Government oil companies have once again increased the price of diesel by 35 paise per liter on Monday. With this, the price of petrol has been made expensive by 30 paise per liter. Fuel prices have reached a record high due to the price hike for the seventh consecutive day, meanwhile a statement of Union Minister of State for Petroleum Rameshwar Teli has come to the fore.

'Where will the vaccine money come from?'

Amidst rising prices of petrol and diesel, Union Minister of State for Petroleum Rameshwar Teli said, 'Oil prices are not high, these prices also include tax. You must have taken the free vaccine, where will its money come from? You have not given money for the vaccine, thus collected money (from the tax on petrol and diesel). This statement of Union Minister of State for Petroleum Rameshwar Teli is dated 9 October, he had given this statement in Assam.

Petrol and diesel prices

The statement of the Union Minister has come at a time when the prices of petrol and diesel are increasing continuously. Petrol in Delhi reached Rs 104.44 per liter on Monday, while diesel is being sold at Rs 93.18 per liter. Let us tell you that on the first day of this month, petrol became costlier by 25 paise, whereas diesel has become costlier by 30 paise a liter.
