New Delhi : BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has received threatening emails for the second time on Wednesday. He has approached Delhi Police regarding this. The second email has been sent from isiskashmir@gmail.com. According to an India Today report, the second email read, "We wanted to kill you, but you survived yesterday."

The email further read, "If you love your family life, stay away from politics and Kashmir issue." Apart from this, the second email also has an attachment of a video shot outside Gautam Gambhir's Delhi residence.

Earlier on Wednesday, Gambhir, the BJP MP from East Delhi had approached the police over a threatening email from "ISIS Kashmir". The first email read, "We're going to kill you and your family."

According to India Today report, DCP (Central) Shweta Chauhan told that a case has been registered in this regard on the basis of complaint of Gaurav Arora on behalf of BJP MP Gautam Gambhir.

In a written complaint to the Delhi Police on November 23, Gaurav Arora, the MP's private secretary, mentioned that the first email was received at 9.32 pm on Tuesday.

The matter is under investigation and the Cyber ​​Cell of Central District Police is verifying the email address from which the threat emails were sent. The Deputy Commissioner of Police said that as a precautionary measure, security has been beefed up outside the Rajendra Nagar residence of the MP.
