Eknath Shinde, along with 33 MLAs of his party and seven independents, had stayed at Surat's Le Meridien hotel and left Surat airport for Guwahati in Assam on Wednesday morning.At the same time, after reaching Guwahati, Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde said that a total of 40 Shiv Sena MLAs are present here.
