Iran-Israel-US Conflict: Diplomatic tension between Iran and the US is once again at its peak. The spark of the latest dispute has been ignited by a recent statement by former US President Donald Trump, in which he claimed that Iranian officials wanted to come to the White House and meet. This claim has brought deep anger to Iran.

Iran has reacted sharply to Trump's statement, calling it "false, provocative and insulting". The New York-based Iranian United Nations Mission issued a statement on the social media platform X to clarify that no Iranian representative had made any such wish or request to the US. The mission called Trump a "liar and a coward" and termed his statement shameful.

Iran also retaliated to Trump's threat

Trump's alleged threat to target Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has made the situation more tense. Iran warned that if there was any attack or threat on its leader or institutions, it would be responded to with the same level of force. Tehran also reminded that in the past Khamenei had clearly said that Iran would never bow down to America, and if there was an attack, it would give a befitting reply.

'There will be no dialogue under pressure'

Iran made it clear in its official statement that it does not negotiate on the basis of any pressure, threat or false claim. Nor does it accept any proposal that promotes war or questions Iranian sovereignty. This statement reflects Iran's tough stance towards any future diplomatic initiative with America.
