IND vs WI: The first match of the two-Test series between India and West Indies is being played at Windsor Park in Dominica. West Indies captain Kraigg Brathwaite has won the toss and decided to bat first. Alyque Ethnoaz is making his debut for the West Indies. At the same time, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ishaan Kishan are making their debut from India. Both the teams are facing each other in Tests after four years. The last time both the teams met face to face in the year 2019. The Caribbean team has not been able to beat Team India in Tests for the last 21 years. The team's last win against India was on 18 May 2002 at Kingston.

Jaiswal-Ishan debut cap, ethnic debut from Windies

Captain Rohit Sharma has given two youngsters a chance to debut in the Test team in the first match of the tour. Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat gave the cap to the debutant. Wicket-keeper batsman Ishaan Kishan and Yashasvi Jaiswal will be seen playing in white jerseys. Both of them can also be seen opening. Alyque Ethnoaz has got a chance to make his debut for the Windies team.

Jaiswal will open with Rohit, Gill will play at number-3

Yashasvi Jaiswal, playing the debut match, will be seen opening with captain Rohit Sharma, while opener Shubman Gill will be seen playing at number-3 in place of experienced batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, while wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan will be seen handling the middle order.
