G-20 Summit In India: Special preparations have been made for the G-20 conference to be held on 9 and 10 September in Delhi. Some restrictions have been imposed by the government and administration in Delhi-NCR and for this a notification related to the restrictions has been issued. There will be tight security arrangements for the G-20 summit and some areas of Delhi will remain under security cordon. The whole of Delhi is divided into three zones, which are Containment Zone-1, Containment Zone-2 and Regulated Zone.

Along with this, Delhi Police has tweeted that do not believe the rumours-

The entire area inside Ring Road (Mahatma Gandhi Marg) from 05:00 hrs on 08.09.2023 till 23:59 hrs on 10.09.2023 shall be treated as "Regulated Area".

Only bonafide residents, authorized vehicles, emergency vehicles and vehicles of passengers traveling to the airport, Old Delhi and New Delhi railway stations will be allowed to ply on the road network of New Delhi district.

No TSR and Taxi shall be permitted to enter or ply in New Delhi District from 05:00 hrs on 09.09.2023 till 23:59 hrs on 10.09.2023.

All types of commercial vehicles, including buses already present in Delhi, will be allowed to ply on the Ring Road and road network beyond the Ring Road towards the borders of Delhi.

Goods vehicles carrying essential commodities like milk, vegetables, fruits, medical supplies etc. will be allowed to enter Delhi with valid 'No Entry Permit'.

The entire area of New Delhi district from 05:00 AM on 08.09.2023 to 23:59 AM on 10.09.2023 will be considered as "Controlled Area".

All types of goods vehicles, commercial vehicles, interstate buses and local city buses will not ply on Mathura Road (beyond Ashram Chowk), Bhairon Road, Purana Quila Road.

Inside Pragati Maidan Tunnel from 00:00 hrs on midnight of 07 & 08.09.2023 to 23:59 hrs on 10.09.2023.

Except New Delhi, the rest of the Delhi markets will remain open, but the weekly markets of South, South West, West and Central Delhi will remain closed during this period.
