Lok Sabha Elections: Amidst the Lok Sabha elections 2024, a big interview of Union Home Minister Amit Shah has come out. In this interview, Amit Shah has talked about various issues including Lok Sabha elections, target of 400 seats and Delhi liquor scam. Amit Shah has expressed confidence that BJP is going to win in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 also and Prime Minister Modi will come to power with a huge majority.

History of misuse of majority is not BJP's

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said in an interview to ANI that we have had the majority for 10 years to change the Constitution. We never tried this. My party does not have a history of misuse of majority. Majority was misused by Congress during the time of Indira Gandhi. He said that we need 400 seats because we want to bring stability in politics in the country because the borders of the country have to be kept safe. Amit Shah said how did we use our seats in 10 years? Repealed Article 370, abolished triple talaq, built Ram temple, brought UCC.

Is there a plan B?

Does BJP have any plan B in case it does not reach the majority mark? In response to this question, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that Plan B needs to be made only when Plan A has less than 60% chance of being successful. Amit Shah said that I am sure that Prime Minister Modi will come to power with an overwhelming majority.

Attack on kejriwal

On Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's election campaign, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in an interview to ANI that as a voter, I believe that wherever he goes, people will remember the liquor scam. Many people will see a big bottle. On Arvind Kejriwal's comment "If you vote for me, I will not have to go to jail", he said that if he has said this then there cannot be a bigger contempt of the Supreme Court than this.

The country can never be divided now – Amit Shah

On the so-called 'North-South India partition', Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that if someone says that it is a separate country, then it is very objectionable. This country can never be divided again. Amit Shah also said that those who raise questions on Article 370, I would like to tell them that the voting there has crossed 40%. There cannot be a bigger success than removing Article 370.
