Lok Sabha Elections 2024: The results of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 have come out. The NDA alliance has got a majority in this election, after which it has been decided that Narendra Modi will once again take over the post of Prime Minister. Now according to the latest information, PM Narendra Modi has reached Rashtrapati Bhavan. Here PM Modi met President Draupadi Murmu and recommended the dissolution of the Union Cabinet and the 17th Lok Sabha, after which a claim will be presented to form a new government.

Recommendation to dissolve the Council of Ministers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the President today and submitted his resignation along with the Council of Ministers. The President has accepted the resignation and requested Narendra Modi and the Council of Ministers to remain in office till the new government takes charge.

How many seats does NDA have?

After the Lok Sabha election results, the NDA alliance has won a total of 293 seats while the majority figure is 272. Many other parties including alliance members JDU chief Nitish Kumar and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu have clearly announced their support to the BJP. It is believed that many other small parties can also support the NDA in the new government. At the same time, the INDIA alliance of opposition parties has got 234 seats.
