WhatsApp New Feature: Many new features are going to be added on WhatsApp this year. The company is working on many features simultaneously, which are to be rolled out soon. Some features will first come on the iOS beta version and some will be introduced first on the Android version. WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature for iOS beta that will allow users to set expiry dates for groups. According to the latest report by Wabetainfo, the new option will be available in Group Info.

Will get many options

When this feature is released, users will be able to choose from different expiration options such as one day, one week or a custom date. Moreover, if the users change their mind then they will also be able to change or delete the expiry date which was set earlier. However, the choice will be personal and will not be applicable to other participants of the group.

Will get the option of expiry date

This feature will serve as a good storage tool to save space by helping users manage groups over time. The report states that the ability to choose an expiry date for groups is currently under development and is expected to be released in a future update.

Meanwhile, last week, it was reported that the messaging platform is releasing a sticker maker tool on iOS that will allow users to convert images into stickers, eliminating the need for third-party apps to create stickers.
