IND vs AUS Final: Indian cricket team once again failed to become world champion. Team India, captained by Rohit Sharma, had to face defeat at the hands of Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. The entire team was disappointed with this defeat because Team India had played brilliantly throughout the tournament. This team reached the finals by winning 10 consecutive matches but could not win the title match. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also come to watch this match. After the defeat of the Indian team, PM Modi met the players in the dressing room of Team India and during this, fast bowler Mohammed Shami burst into tears. Seeing Shami crying, the Prime Minister hugged him.

Shami has posted a photo on his Instagram in which he is seen crying and Modi is hugging him. In the caption along with the photo on his Instagram, Shami thanked the PM for coming to the dressing room to encourage him.

Shami performed brilliantly

Shami did not get a place in the playing-11 at the beginning of the World Cup. But after Hardik Pandya got injured, Shami got a chance and he took full advantage of it and played brilliantly. Shami played a total of seven matches in this tournament and was successful in taking 24 wickets. With this he became the bowler taking the most wickets in this tournament. In this World Cup, he made another record in his name. Shami has become the highest wicket taker for India in the World Cup. He also became the highest bowler for India in a World Cup. In the final also, Shami gave the first success to India and dismissed David Warner. But after this his magic did not work and Team India had to face defeat.

Jadeja also shared the photo

Indian team spinner Ravindra Jadeja has also shared a photo with PM Modi. Jadeja has posted the photo of his meeting with the PM on his Twitter. Jadeja has written that Team India had a great tournament but the team could not do well in the finals. Jadeja wrote that the team was disappointed by this and in such a situation, PM Modi came to the dressing room and met the team players, which was quite motivating.
