Mahakumbh 2025: The Maha Kumbh Mela to be held in Prayagraj is famous for its religiosity, grandeur and traditions all over the world. The biggest attraction of this great festival are the Akharas and Naga Sanyasis. The royal bathing process of these Akharas holds special significance. This year the royal bath has been named 'Amrit Snan'. The Kumbh Mela administration has provided the time list of Amrit Snan to all the 13 Akharas. Let us know, which Akhara will take a dip of faith when and for how long.

Amrit Snan Program of Mahakumbh Mela 2025

According to the traditional order of the Akharas for Mahakumbh Mela 2025, the dates and times of Amrit Snan have been informed to the Akharas. According to Mahant Jamuna Puri, Secretary of Panchayati Akhara Mahanirvani, the first Amrit Snan on the auspicious festival of Makar Sankranti will be done by Shri Panchayati Akhara Mahanirvani and Shri Shambhu Panchayati Atal Akhara.

Special instructions and preparations

Special preparations have been made by the administration for the royal bath during the Mahakumbh fair. Security arrangements at the ghats, special route plans for the akhadas and control rooms have been set up for the convenience of the devotees.

This time list has been issued only for Makar Sankranti and Basant Panchami bath. According to the administration, similar time lists will be issued for other major baths as well.
