IND vs AUS / Will rain spoil the game in the second T20? The weather keeps an eye on the match

IND vs AUS: The first T20 match between India and Australia in Visakhapatnam brought rain of runs. More than 400 runs were scored in the first match of the five-match series played on Thursday 23 November. Team India achieved the target of 209 runs given by Australia on the very last ball. Now both the teams will clash in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday 26th November. While Team India will try to double the lead, the Australian team will want to equalize. At the same time, the only wish of the fans would be that like in the first T20, there should be a lot of fours and sixes here too. However, due to the weather of Thiruvananthapuram, it is in danger.

The second match of the T20 series will be played on Sunday at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. This will be the third international match on this ground in the last one year. Earlier in January, an ODI match was played between India and Sri Lanka, while in September last year, a T20 match was played between India and South Africa. Now the Indian team is going to face Australia.

Australia's practice disrupted

However, there is a possibility of weather interference regarding this match. In fact, there was heavy rain in the city on Saturday afternoon, a day before the match. During this time, the practice session of the Australian team was going on, which had to be stopped midway. After this the ground was filled with a lot of water. Although the ground staff had covered the pitch on time, due to which there was no damage to it, but a lot of water had accumulated in the remaining parts.

Will it rain on Sunday?

The matter of relief was that the rain did not last long and the water was dried up. After this, Team India completed its practice session in the evening without any problem. However, even after this, there is a possibility of rain on Sunday. According to weather forecast website Accuweather, it may rain during the day on Sunday also. This rain may occur around 2 o'clock in the day. However, there is no forecast of rain after 3 o'clock till night. Still, eyes will be on how much impact it has on the ground and whether it will be completely ready before the match starting at 7 pm.
